The 36-year-old driver of this 2007 Dodge pickup, David Wayne Prock of Granbury, was extricated by first responders who sheared off the cab’s roof with a metal-cutting tool after a collision with a tanker truck shortly before 7:30 p.m. Monday on Fall Creek Highway, near Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Prock was flown to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. The driver of the 18-wheeler, Kenneth Earl Clark of Godley, was not injured. A witness who saw Prock after the crash noted that he appeared to be conscious, but the extent of his injuries was unknown at press time. Granbury Police Department Deputy Chief Alan Hines said the southbound pickup drifted off the roadway, then “took faulty evasive action and crossed into the northbound lane” and struck the 2012 Mack truck near the left-rear wheels.
