Local Emergency Planning Committee meets on Aug. 15

The Hood County Local Emergency Planning Committee will meet from 10 a.m.-noon on Wednesday Emergency Management Coordinator Brian Fine said. The gathering will be in the meeting room in the Annex I building, 1410 W. Pearl St.

Francisco San Miguel, representing the North Central Texas Council of Governments, is the scheduled speaker, Fine said.

The topic will be local hazard planning.
