If drought conditions continue this spring, you won’t be getting the boat out any time soon.
An update on the Brazos River Authority website shows that Lake Granbury could drop another 2.8 feet by May 31. That would make it 8.1 feet low.
Upstream on the Brazos River, the projection shows Possum Kingdom Lake could be 11.1 feet low. Downstream, Lake Whitney is projected to be 11.5 feet low by the end of May.
Lake Granbury is down 5.3 feet this week, and about 74 percent full.
With normal rainfall, both Granbury and PK could be full on May 31, according to BRA projections.
