Homecoming jubilation

Lipan fans cheer their teams as the Lady Indians and Indians each won on homecoming Saturday at the new Lipan gym. The Lady Indians, the No. 1 team in the state in Class A Division II, defeated Santo, the No. 6 team in Class A Division I, 56-41. The Indians got their first win of the season after a pair of tough road losses, edging Santo 65-63. The new gym was finally finished this year after it was started in 1999 and funding ran out.
