Hair today, gone tomorrow

Stylist Libby Tatarko sheared more than 10 inches of locks reaching to the waist of 8-year-old Acton Elementary student Trinity Benitez. Trinity’s hair will soon be on the way to Locks for Love, a public nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering medical hair loss. Inspiration to lose her locks came from the battles against cancer fought by Acton Elementary teacher Michelle Foster and Trinity’s great-grandmother Linda Goforth.
