Hood Countians probably should consider themselves lucky to have received the rain that quickly blew through Wednesday evening. Former Granbury Mayor David Southern and his grandsons Drew (left) and Alex Southern had to skip a few puddles to cross the road at the intersections of Pearl and Crockett in downtown Granbury. There’s no rain in sight in the foreseeable future, just mostly sunny skies with high temperatures in the mid-90s and overnight temps in the low-70s.
