A 26-year-old Granbury man has been charged with sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl.

Robert Aaron Ford was arrested at his Sky Harbour home on a first-degree felony charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child, according to District Attorney Rob Christian.

“A 10-year-old female child known to Mr. Ford came forward with an outcry of multiple incidents of sexual abuse that occurred in Granbury,” Christian said. “Mr. Ford gave a statement to investigators and is currently being held in the Hood County Jail on a $75,000 bond.”

David Jonathan Salas, III, 21, was apprehended in his home city of Bethany, Okla., and arrested for sexual assault of a child and online solicitation of a minor, the district attorney said.

The alleged victim was a 16- year-old Hood County resident known to Salas, Christian said. Salas had a sexually explicit conversation with the victim using Facebook and traveled to Granbury to have sex with the child, the DA said.

Salas is in Hood County Jail on a $50,000 and $25,000 bond on a second and third degree felony respectively.

Sheralyn Torode, 43, was arrested on a state jail felony warrant for endangering a child.

Torode is alleged to have used methamphetamine in the presence of a 3-year-old.

The 3-year-old later tested positive for methamphetamine.

Torode lists two addresses – Granbury and Hastings, Mich. She bonded out of the Hood County Jail last Wednesday after posting a $5,000 bond.
