Caller: Man tried to coerce boy into van

Hood County 911 emergency dispatch received a call Tuesday night reporting that a man driving a van had unsuccessfully tried to “coerce” a child into getting into his vehicle in the Laguna Tres subdivision north of Granbury, Hood County Lieutenant Johnny Rose said.

Rose said that the blue and purple van was reportedly driven by a small man wearing glasses.

The child was a boy, of unknown age, Rose added.
