And four area boys teams are hoping for postseason berths.
The Lipan Indians are hoping to extend a playoff streak that dates back to 1991. Also, the Granbury boys are looking for a first playoff berth since 1999.
Granbury: Lady Pirates (19-13) will play Cleburne (20-12) Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Saginaw Boswell.
Lipan: Lady Indians (26-4) and Strawn (26-6) are expected to flip a coin to determine the No. 1 and No. 2 playoff seeds. First-round playoff opponent TBA.
GrANBURY: Pirates (15-13, 6-5) are in a tussle with Aledo and Arlington Heights for the district’s final two playoff berths as the regular season ends Tuesday.
Tolar: Rattlers (15-9, 6-4 ) are third in district and were holding down the district’s final playoff berth with two games remaining.
Lipan: Indians (11-16, 3-4) entered last night’s game at Gordon needing a win as they are hoping to not miss the postseason for the first time since 1990.
