Saturday is Election Day to fill three spots on the board of the Acton Municipal Utility District (AMUD).
Early voting ended at 5 p.m. last night.
Three polling locations will be serving AMUD voting precincts 3, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 16.
The polling locations are:
Lakeside Baptist Church, 500 W. Bluebonnet Dr. (Precincts 3 and 11);
Acton Baptist Church, 3500 Fall Creek Highway (Precincts 10, 13 and 14); and
Pecan Activity Center, 9145 Plantation Dr. (Precinct 16).
Candidates on the ballot are John Featherston, Allan Hall, John Tibbs, Ronald Cotton and Don Cleveland.
Voters can select up to three names.
According to Elections Administrator Jenise “Crickett” Miller, voters are eligible to vote in the AMUD elections if their voter registration card has “AMUD” on it.
Polls will be open Saturday from 7 to 7.
