William “Bill” Paul Broom of Granbury, 60, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 in his home in Granbury.
Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, in Holly Hills Mausoleum Chapel. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Bill was born Feb. 9, 1953 in Fort Worth to Wayne and Pauline Broom. He and his wife, Diane, made their home in Granbury for the past 18 years. His passions were fishing, music from the 60’s and 70’s, Texas Rangers baseball and his dog, Sheila.
Bill was a career construction man and served as a superintendent until his final days for Kent Companies. Known for his tender heart and sense of humor, he loved spending time at home with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susanne Broom.
He leaves to mourn: his wife, Diane Gentry; children, Wade Broom (Tasha), Tyler Broom, Crystal Buck (Ronnie), Tami Thomason (Scott) and BJ Scott (Misty); grandchildren, Taylor, Zachory, Christian, Destany, Makyanna, Gregory, Aiden, Rylie, Evelyn, Lukas; and brothers, John Broom (Pilar), Charlie Broom (Debbie) and Robert Broom (Sue).
