Wes Mourer of Granbury, 64, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at his Granbury residence.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Highway 377 East, Granbury.
Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Granbury Church of Christ.

Wes was born Aug. 27, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pa., to George Wesley Mourer Sr. and Jane Gebhardt Mourer.
Wes was a longtime MedStar paramedic in Hood County and taught others to be Emergency Medical Technicians. He was co-founder of Granbury-Hood County EMS and was co-owner of Ride N Safe Medical Transports, a non-emergency medical transport company. Wes enjoyed sports, especially golf.
Survivors: Mother, Janie Mourer; children, Ryan Mourer and wife, Tessa, Bethany Mourer of Houston, Texas, Nicolaus Mourer, Kelly Honecker and husband, Andy; sister, Jeanette Lewis and husband, Tony, of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren, Peyton Mourer, Grady Honecker, Kalyn Prince, Avery Prince, Madison Hinkley Airah Hinkley; niece, Jenny Lewis; and nephew, John Lewis.
