W. Joyzelle Morey of Granbury, 84, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, in Dallas.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at Granbury First Christian Church.
Burial: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at Dallas – Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
Memorials are suggested in Mrs. Morey’s name to The First Christian Church Scholarship Fund, Granbury, TX.
Mrs. Morey was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Lawton, Okla., to Wilbur Crafts Fox and Elva Lena Casey Fox. She married Warren Morey, Dec. 27, 1947, in Fort Sill, Okla.
A Dallas resident from 1953 to 1990, she had lived in Granbury since 1990 and was a member of Granbury First Christian Church. She was an avid genealogist, loved jigsaw puzzles and was a professional grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Husband, A. Warren Morey of Granbury; son, Steven Clint Morey and wife, Diana Marie, of Flower Mound; daughter, Marsha Kay Russell and husband, Don, of Dallas; grandchildren, Travis Richard Russell and wife, Jillian Kay, of Fargo, N.D., Christopher Warren Russell of Dallas, Christine X. Morey of Flower Mound; sister-in-law, Marjorie Lou Adams Morey of Granbury.
