Virginia Martin, age 80, passed away in Granbury following an auto accident on Oct. 4, 2012.
Virginia was born in Pontiac, Mich. on May 10, 1932. Virginia owned and operated a Merle Norman store until she retired and moved to Granbury.
Virginia loved to travel and visit friends. She was always up for adventure and went white water rafting with her grandchildren when she was in her 70s. Always well-dressed and accessorized with a hat, Virginia will remembered for her sense of style.
She enjoyed playing cards every Wednesday with the ladies in Granbury. She loved her little dog Mitzi. She had an active life to the end and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her three loving daughters Terry Wright, Gail Barabasz, and Beverly O’Mara, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother, James Blade and a sister, Dolores Blade White.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Don Martin. She will be interred next to her husband in the family cemetery outside Prague, Okla.
