Rayburn Tankersley of Lipan, 74, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in Fort Worth.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home. No services are scheduled at this time.
Mr. Tankersley was born Oct. 30, 1938, in Parker County, to Wesley Walden Tankersley and Katherine Ammons Tankersley. He was a lifetime resident of Hood County. He retired from Brazos Electric after 32 years of service. Mr. Tankersley enjoyed camping and RVing.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a son, John Tankersley, sister, Waundean Harper.
Survivors: Wife, Larue Tankersley of Lipan; son, Charles Tankersley of Glen Rose; daughter, Rayna Southerland and husband, Roy, of Weatherford; grandchildren, Wesley Jackson and wife, Melonie, Lana Eisenwine and husband, Mike, Andea Jackson, Shelby Tankersley, Bryant Tankersley, Jonathan, Tankersley; great-grandchildren, Kenneth Jackson and Lillian Eisenwine.
Arrangements were by Wiley Chapel, Lipan.
