Marjorie “Margie” Donathan of Granbury, 70, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, in Dallas. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Acton Baptist Church. Burial: Acton Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wiley Funeral Home. Memorials: Charity of choice.

Margie was born Aug. 29, 1942, in Clovis, N.M., to Max and Annie Ogan Kalbas. She married Conny Donathan, Sept. 18, 1965, in Granbury. Margie was a member of Acton Baptist Church, a life member of the Granbury Women’s Club and served as a leader in both the 4H and Girl Scouts. She owned and operated a home cleaning service.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Edward Kalbas, and a grandson, Andrew Graham Martin.

Survivors: Husband, Conny Donathan of Granbury; daughter, Michelle Martin and husband, Robert, of Granbury; grandchildren, Lilliana Elyse Martin, Riley Gregory Martin; sisters, Esther Williams of Granbury, Helen Dicks and husband, Jack, of Fenwick, W.Va.; brothers, Robert Kalbas and wife, Judy, of Joshua, Hulen Kalbas of Cleburne; brother-in-law, James Donathan of Granbury; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Wiley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
