Dayca “Marie” Womack Wheat Heath, 85 of Granbury, passed away Tuesday, May 28.
A memorial to celebrate her life will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 at the VFW Post 7835 in Granbury.
Marie made a generous donation to UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas-willed body program.
Born in Ranger to Levi and Alietha Womack Jan. 19, 1928, she was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 7835.
Marie is remembered most of all for her love of life and dancing in her high heels. She lived each day to the fullest and always did things “her way.”
Marie danced her way to heaven to join her beloved dog Keisha. She leaves behind her husband John Heath of Granbury, her only daughter Dorothy Marie and son-in- law Larry Carlton of Decatur; grandchildren Jim Carlton, Kimberly Marie and husband Kevin Farrow of Rhome. Marie was Memaw to Shayler Carlton Shepard, MaKenna Marie and Trinity Belle Farrow of Rhome.
Marie also leaves behind many friends in Granbury – Richard, Gaye, Vickie, Rodney, Teresa and many, many, more.
