Madalyn Curry of Granbury, 86, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in Granbury.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday, March 29, in Holly Hills Mausoleum Chapel. Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at Wiley Funeral Home. Memorials: May be made to Granbury Villa, Mission Granbury or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Mrs. Curry was born April 5, 1926, in Gum Springs. She married James Henry Curry on May 15, 1946, in Price. She was a longtime resident of Levelland, moving to Granbury in 1994. She was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church in Levelland. Madalyn was hospital administrator of Levelland Clinic for many years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eudie Haskins, and stepfather, Arthur Holderman of Henderson.
Survivors: Husband, James H. Curry of Granbury; children, Jimmy Neal Curry and wife, Dianne, of Granbury, Debbie Adams and husband, Dennis, of Granbury and Greg Curry of San Angelo; grandchildren, Kim Dearman, Chris Dearman, Lynzi Curry, Mysti Johnson; six great grandchildren; brother, Kirby Haskins and wife, Jean, of Bossier City, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
