Lula M. Dempsey of Granbury, 87, passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, in Fort Worth.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday at Generations Church in Granbury. Burial: Long Creek Cemetery in Hood County. Visitation was 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday at Wiley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dempsey was born Nov. 13, 1925, in LaMesa, Texas, to Charles C. and Nora Mitchell White. She married Perry A. Dempsey, April 22, 1949, in Cleburne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Betty Davis, Christine Smith, and Charlene Whitworth; brother, J.W. White.
Survivors: Husband, Perry A. Dempsey of Granbury; sons, Edwin W. Rentfrow and wife, Juvene, of Fort Worth, J.D. Dempsey and wife, Debbie, of Acton; daughter, Kathy Newton of Granbury; granddaughters, Lori, Adrian, Jennifer; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
