Kenneth Michael Parmer of Granbury, 50, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at his residence.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Acton United Methodist Church. Burial: Acton Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at Wiley Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born Jan. 3, 1963, in Levelland, to Jerold L. Parmer and Polly Kennedy Parmer. He had lived in Granbury for the past nine years and was a member of Acton United Methodist Church. Kenneth earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas in Austin and his Master’s Degree from West Texas State. He loved to read and research both history and religion. Kenneth was the discussion leader for the local chapter of D.B.S.A. (Depression Bipolar Support Alliance) at Acton United Methodist Church.
Survivors: Parents, Jerold L. and Polly Parmer of Granbury; children, Owen Parmer and Emma Parmer, both of Vernon, Texas; brother, Dr. David Parmer and wife, Fariba, of Southlake; soulmate, Janeece Barker of Granbury; niece and nephew, Layli Parmer and Evan Parmer, both of Southlake.
