JoAnna Fisk of Richmond, Texas and formerly of Granbury, passed Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.
JoAnna was born Sept. 8, 1930 in Ranger. She grew up in Gorman. She moved to Dallas and married Jimmy Hawkins Fisk. They resided in Cedar Hill, where they raised their family. She was a member of the Cedar Hill Home Demonstration Club, was a Cub Scout Den Mother, and worked for Charlton Methodist Hospital for many years.
Once retired, she moved to Granbury, where she lived until 2010, before moving to Richmond, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lois Marie Hill Hays, and Robert Jarrett.
She is survived by sister Ruby Brown of Archer City, brother Aaron Jarrett of Mabank, her children, David Fisk of Granbury, Carolyn Kagy of Richmond, Julie Comeau of Richmond, and Dana Fisk Comeau of Bridgeport, seven grandchildren, two great-grand children, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service were at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury on Monday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association in her honor.
