Glen Lee Benson Howard of Granbury, 88, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, in Granbury.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Nancy Smith Cemetery in Somervell County. Visitation: 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Mr. Howard was born Jan. 27, 1925, in Glen Rose, to Norman and Bessie Ice Howard. He was raised in Hico and had lived in Fort Worth and many years in Granbury.
He passed away at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home where he was loved and cared for. His nephew Brandon and the hospice team was by his side during his transition to his “new” home.
Glen worked out of his home as a mechanic and sold cars off and on throughout his life. He loved country music and having a good time.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ferman Howard, Dub Howard; sisters, Laverne Howard Moore and Hazel Howard Adkison.
Survivors: Sister, Jonnie Howard Atkins; and several nieces and nephews.
