Gerald A. ‘Jerry’ Thompson

Gerald A. “Jerry” Thompson of Azle, 79, went to be with his Lord, Nov. 3, 2012, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Service: 2 p.m., Thursday at Azleland Memorial Park Chapel.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Azleland Memorial Park.

Gerald was born Sept. 22, 1933 in Clinton, Okla. to Lem and Estelle Thompson.

He was a resident of Indian Harbor, Granbury, for over 20 years prior to moving to Azle.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during Korea and retired as a Master Sergeant. Jerry also worked as a supervisor for the City of Fort Worth Water Department, where he also retired after many years of dedicated service.

Survivors: Wife, Edna; daughter, Lyn Neusch and husband, Gilbert; son, Robert A. Thompson; grandchildren, Crystal York-Ward and Robby Thompson.
