Gayle Parchman Doud Guenther of Granbury, 76, lost her battle to cancer and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 17, 2013.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Gayle was born on Dec. 9, 1936, in Fort Worth to Gladys and William Haly Parchman. She was a 1955 graduate of Birdville High School and started college at University of North Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Granbury.
Gayle’s passions in her life were joy in the Lord, playing the piano, reading and traveling. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Gayle was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert A. Doud; her second husband, Thomas Guenther; son, Robert A. Doud; grandson, Haly Doud; her parents; brother, Haly Parchman and sister, Anita Parchman Bussey.
Survivors: Children, Laura Kay Doud, Teresa Delaney, Richie Doud and Ronny Doud; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Stan Parchman.
