They moved to Texas in 1948 to work at the Bomber Factory Consolidated at that time. Subsequently, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 31 years, prior to retirement and moving to Granbury.
While in Granbury he also worked for Happy Hill Farm for ten years.
He was a member of The 3rd Order of St. Francis of Assisi, Knights of Columbus Council #9748, 410th Bomber Group WWII Association and a charter member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church along with his wife.
He enjoyed traveling to his Air Force reunions and catching up with his buddies. Gardening, fishing and golf were his favorite pastimes, especially teaching his grandchildren how to bait a hook. Much to the displeasure of friends and family he remained loyal to his beloved Pittsburg Steelers.
Preceding him in death were daughter, Paula Mohr and son Tony Mozjesik.
