Frances H. Wren, 55, of Granbury, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 14 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at Wiley Funeral Home on Highway 377, Granbury.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to the Granbury Friends for Animals, 2885 Fall Creek Highway, Granbury 76049.
Born in Port Jefferson, New York on Nov. 14, 1957, Frances was the daughter of Frank and Yutaka Hauschildt, both deceased. She married the love of her life, Jim E. Wren on Oct. 6, 1979 in Kansas City, Mo.
Frances graduated from Platte City High School, Platte City, Mos., and the University of Missouri at Rolla. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha.
Her activities included rescuing animals, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and being with her children.
Survivors: Husband Jim E. Wren of Granbury; daughter Megan Chalifoux and husband Jess of Granbury, son Jim. D. Wren of Granbury; her sister Jun H. Shrout and husband Clint of Blue Springs, Mo., three neices and six nephews.
