Elizie Wayne Hoya , 82, of Granbury died Monday, May 13, 2013 after a short illness.
Memorial service: 3 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013 at DFW National Cemetery.
He will receive a full military burial.
Wayne was born on Aug. 12, 1930 in Nacogdoches, the oldest child of Albert and Lulu Hill Hoya.
He spent four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as a flight engineer on a B-36 bomber. After returning from the service he was employed as a materials manager for K.D. Manitou, the worlds largest manufacturer of rough terrain fork lifts, in their Waco, Texas Plant.
Survivors: wife, Shirley Mayo; daughter, Debbie Wustinger of Justin; son, Russell Wayne Hoya of Irving; brother, Kenneth R. Hoya; sister, Catherine Harbuck; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Martin’s Funeral Home made the arrangements.
