Danny Charles Swindle, 59, of Granbury passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home in Granbury. Danny was born Jan. 25, 1954 in Denison to Ralph and Margaret Swindle.
Funeral service: 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park.
Danny married the love of his life, Nancy, and spent 40 fun-loving and adventurous years with her. He was a loving father to his two daughters, Lisa Large and Theresa Cowley. He worked as a carpenter for several nuclear power plants around the country. He enjoyed fishing and sitting on the front porch with his family and friends.
Survivors: wife, Nancy; daughter, Lisa Large and husband Billy, their two children, Lindsey and Kelsey; daughter, Theresa Cowley and husband John and their two children, Hannah Lee and Danny John “Scooter”; Brothers, Dennis Swindle and wife Regina and Rodney Swindle and wife Teresa; sister, Tamra Wilson and husband Wade; sister-in-law, Debbie Swindle; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Margaret Swindle and big brother Terry Swindle.
Danny always had a beautiful smile on his face. He will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him. He could build anything with his two loving hands. He was most happy catching big or small fish at the lake. His sense of humor and laughter will live forever in our hearts.
