Colby Aaron Goolsbee of Granbury, 37, went to sleep and be with the Lord at his home in Granbury on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.
Service was at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Wiley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the memory fund of Colby A. Goolsbee at the First National Bank in Granbury.
Colby was born Jan. 19, 1975 in Killeen to Homer and Cathy Byrd Goolsbee. His priority was his family. He loved all types of music and a special love for his UT Longhorns: Hook’ em Horns. He served in the U.S. Navy for five years as a Hospital Corpsman and was a former Mason. He married Cassandra English in 2009 in Granbury.
Survivors: Wife, Cassie Goolsbee of Granbury; children, Iris Goolsbee, Garrett Goolsbee, Kaleb Goolsbee and Addyrose Goolsbee; sister, Natasha Randolph; brothers, Keegan and wife, Ester Goolsbee and Asa and wife, Alisha Goolsbee; parents, Homer and Cathy Goolsbee of Granbury; mother-in-law, Kara English of Granbury; brother-in-law Bill English of Granbury; grandmother, Faye Byrd of Reklaw; nieces and nephews, Cameron, Morgan, Kyran, Nick, Quentin and Tyler; aunts and uncles, Mike and Carol Byrd, Bob and Norma Butler, Vickie Gargus, Sabrina Sabastian and Mary Gordon; several cousins.
