Alvine (Dutch) Williaford, 93 passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Iron County Nursing Home in Parowan, Utah. Dutch was the wife of Raymond Lloyd Williaford, longtime diseased resident of Granbury.
Dutch had been living between residences in Granbury and Parowan, Utah with her daughter Judy and son-in- law Bob for the past four years. The family traveled between homes for medical services and weather conditions. Dutch loved Texas and called it home, although Little Rock, Ark., was her birth state. She was born on Sept. 8, 1919.
She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth West White and father Grady West along with two brothers and two sisters.
Living relatives include Wanda Gradine Alley of Granbury and Clida Harp of Grapevine. Dutch has three daughters; Patricia Rae Stock of Las Vegas, Nev.; Judy Kay Cranford of Parowan, Utah; and Donna Sue Furgeson of Santa Fe Springs, Calif. She also has four grandchildren Lisa, Lance, Steven and Bret; and four great- grandchildren Avery, Zackery, Alissa and Natalie.
She loved playing bingo, working on crossword puzzles and living on or near the water. She loved listening to the old music of the big band era and singing her old favorites. She was one of the early members of the Indian Harbor Ladies Club, and loved to party with friends and family.
She will be missed, may she rest in peace.
Services are scheduled Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 E. Granbury. Respects and viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to noon. Services at 2 p.m.
