Albert S. Thomas of Granbury, 82, passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, in Montgomery, Texas.
Visitation was Monday at Wiley Funeral Home and Tuesday at Miller and Miller Funeral home in Boswell, Okla.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at First Baptist Church in Boswell, Okla. Burial: Crowder Springs Cemetery in Boswell, Okla.
Mr. Thomas was born Nov. 17, 1930, in Boswell, Okla., to Labin Gilbert Thomas and Frances Mae Hodge Thomas. He married Wynona Suzanne Nelson on Jan. 11, 1950 in Arizona. Albert lived in Granbury from 1955 to 2007.
He retired from General Dynamics after 33 years, then owned and operated a plumbing shop in Granbury. He enjoyed rock hunting, deer hunting and fishing.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors: Son, Stanley Thomas and wife, Terri, of Boswell, Okla.; daughters, Carolyn Sorenson and husband, Donny, of Montgomery, Sandra Hudson and husband, Robert, of Granbury, Wynona Swaim and husband, Gary, of Granbury, Janice Misner of Weatherford; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 37 great-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-great grandchildren.
