A recent traffic stop by Granbury police led to the arrest of two Hood County women, who each will face a state jail felony drug charge.
Jennifer Marie Mask, 31, and Miranda Dee Frankenfield, 19, were the occupants of the vehicle, which was pulled over because of a minor traffic offense shortly after 8 p.m. on Aug. 24 in the 900 block of Highway 377 West.
“During the traffic stop, located was a white powdery substance believed to be methamphetamine,” Deputy Chief Alan Hines said.
Both Frankenfield and Mask were charged with possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, less than 1 ounce. Bond was set at $5,000 each.
Jail records show that Mask was released after posting bond Friday morning. Frankenfield remained in custody as of press time.
