The driver of this 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis (left), a 94-year-old Granbury man, was one of two people transported to Lake Granbury Medical Center for treatment of injuries after a five-vehicle chain-reaction crash just before 1 p.m. Wednesday on the eastbound side of Highway 377 in Granbury in front of RaceTrac, Granbury Police Lieutenant Cliff Andrews said. A 24-year-old Granbury woman was the other person transported to LGMC. Neither injury was believed to be life-threatening. Andrews noted that the 94-year-old failed to control his vehicle’s speed, but that was possibly because of a medical condition.
