Troopers make felony drug arrests
Beverly Jo Dyer, 41, of the 8600 block of Leisure Lane in Pecan Plantation, and 22-year-old Fort Worth resident Zachery Daniel Gossett were stopped by a DPS trooper and arrested at 5 p.m. on Dec. 28 on Highway 377 near Granbury, each charged with a state jail felony count of possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, less than 1 gram, according to Hood County Jail booking records.
Gossett was also charged with fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, also a state jail felony. He also had an outstanding warrant for a third-degree felony count of theft, over $20,000/less than $100,000.
SECOND-DEGREE COUNT
A 27-year-old Granbury man was arrested by a trooper on Jan. 4, charged with a second-degree felony count of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, more than 1 gram/less than 4 grams, jail booking records show.
Michael Earl Keller, of the 500 block of East Road, was taken into custody shortly before 11 p.m. after being stopped by a trooper on Highway 377.
Keller was also charged with a Class B misdemeanor count of possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana. He also had an outstanding warrant out of Tarrant County on a Class A misdemeanor count of assault bodily injury family violence, the record indicates.
DRUG CHARGE
A 24-year-old Hood County man is facing a second-degree felony charge of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, more than 1 gram/less than 4 grams, according to Hood County Sheriff’s Office Jail booking records.
Frankie Doyle Bone, of the 7800 block of River Run southeast of Granbury, was stopped by a trooper on Jan. 4 on Highway 377 West in Granbury, before being taken into custody.
Bone also will face a couple of misdemeanor charges, including a Class B misdemeanor count of possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana, records show.

254THIRD-DEGREE FELONY
A 51-year-old resident of the Pecan Plantation subdivision southeast of Granbury was arrested by a trooper on Jan. 4, charged with possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, more than 1 gram/less than 4 grams, jail booking records indicate.
Robert Edward Hansen, of the 6300 block of Asphodel Court, was taken into custody at about 9:08 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 377 and FM 167, records show.
MULTIPLE WARRANTS
A 23-year-old DeSoto man with multiple outstanding warrants for misdemeanors out of the Metroplex was arrested Dec. 31 by a trooper during a traffic stop in Tolar on a state jail felony count of possession of marijuana, more than 4 ounces/less than 5 pounds, jail records show.
Bryan Kevin Wood was pulled over just before 8:30 p.m. All of Wood’s warrants were Class C misdemeanors for traffic-related incidents, including cases pending out of Dalworthington, Pantego and Euless, plus one failure to appear warrant out of Dalworthington.
MARIJUANA CHARGE
Charles Darkus Middleton, 22, of Stephenville, is facing a state jail felony charge of possession of marijuana, more than 4 ounces/less than 5 pounds, after being arrested by a DPS trooper on the night of Dec. 31 on Highway 377 near Granbury, according to Hood County Jail booking records.
