This windmill – which had been set in the ground in cement for about the last 12 years – was one of the seven that sustained damage from stout southerly winds early Sunday morning at The Windmill Farm and Bed and Breakfast near Tolar. Chuck Rickgauer, co-owner of the business with his wife Ruby, said on Monday afternoon that he has already fixed two of the windmills that had minor damage. Two wooden windmills had broken blades. Rickgauer said his business is “about a mile, as the crow flies” from the location on Friendship Road near Tolar where two mobile home roofs were ripped off by the storm.
