The owner of Brazos Bingo Hall showed up in court Wednesday to watch the trial of two of his employees.
The man, with warrants out for his arrest, was recognized by law enforcement officers.
The 33-year-old man was arrested and charged with keeping a gambling place and possessing gambling devices – both misdemeanors – according to Hood County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Johnny Rose.
He was released from jail after posting bonds totaling $5,000. The two employees had been charged with possessing gambling devices. They were learning their fate at press time.
