A Hood County man is accused again of interfering with an emergency phone call, said Lieutenant Johnny Rose of the Hood County Sheriff’s Office.

During an April 11 disturbance with his grandmother in Oak Trail Shores, Angel Isaiah Hernandez, 21, “grabbed the victim’s phone to prevent them from calling 911,” Rose stated. “Hernandez fled the scene before deputies arrived.”

Hernandez, of the 2800 block of Forest Park Drive in the Oak Trail Shores subdivision, was arrested at his home by deputies Monday.

He was convicted after a 2010 arrest on a similar charge in which his mother was reported as the victim, according to Rose.
