A woman who took a swipe at her husband with a kitchen knife Sunday was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Johnny Rose said.
Robbyn Leigh Smith, 29, was arrested at their home on Acton School Road east of Granbury at about 10 p.m.
A 911 call reported the disturbance, according to law officials. Rose said no one was injured during the incident.
Smith was released from custody after posting $20,000 bond.
Rose explained the incident report.
“Deputies discovered (Smith) allegedly brandished a kitchen knife during a disturbance and took a swing with the knife at her 41-year-old husband,” Rose stated.
The lieutenant said the cause of the argument was not included in the report. He also didn’t know what the husband did in reaction to the knife swipe, if anything.
