Recognition of Fine service

March 9, 2013

Brian Fine (left) receives a plaque in recognition for his four-plus years of service as Hood County’s fire marshal and emergency management coordinator. Dave Raffa, Pecan Plantation’s longtime fire chief, made the presentation Monday at Granbury’s Fire Station No. 2 during a meeting of the county’s nine fire chiefs. Fine accepted a job as a deputy state fire marshal. His last official day working for the county was Friday. He and his family will continue to live here. “The plaque is a token of our appreciation for working with us as fire marshal,” Raffa said. “Brian has done a good job as fire marshal. We’re sad to see him go.”
