Pecan man facing felony DPS drug charge
A 51-year-old resident of the Pecan Plantation subdivision southeast of Granbury was arrested by a DPS trooper on Jan. 4, charged with possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, more than 1 gram/less than 4 grams, jail booking records indicate.
Robert Edward Hansen, of the 6300 block of Asphodel Court, was taken into custody at about 9:08 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 377 and FM 167, records show.
Hansen was released from the Hood County Jail on Jan. 4 after posting $10,000 bond.
MULTIPLE WARRANTS
A 23-year-old DeSoto man with multiple outstanding warrants for misdemeanors out of the Metroplex was arrested Dec. 31 by a trooper during a traffic stop in Tolar on a state jail felony count of possession of marijuana, more than 4 ounces/less than 5 pounds, jail records show.
Bryan Kevin Wood was pulled over just before 8:30 p.m.
Most of Wood’s warrants were Class C misdemeanors for traffic infractions, including cases pending out of Dalworthington, Pantego and Euless, plus one failure to appear warrant out of Dalworthington. Also, one was for driving without a valid license, and one was for failure to appear in court.
After posting $10,000 bond on Jan. 8, Wood was released from the Hood County Jail.
MARIJUANA CHARGE
Charles Darkus Middleton, 22, of Stephenville, is facing a state jail felony charge of possession of marijuana, more than 4 ounces/less than 5 pounds, after being arrested by a DPS trooper on the night of Dec. 31 on Highway 377 near Granbury, according to Hood County Jail booking records.
He posted $10,000 bond on Jan. 1 and was released from jail.
