The driver of this Harley-Davidson motorcycle, 75-year-old Granbury resident David Franklin Baker, was transported to Lake Granbury Medical Center for treatment of injuries received early Tuesday afternoon on Highway 377 West in front of First Christian Church. His bike collided with a 2003 Nissan sport utility vehicle driven by Vanessa Robin Martinez, 28, of Stephenville. Deputy Chief Alan Hines of the Granbury Police Department said that the driver of the motorcycle failed to yield the right-of-way and struck the Nissan. A spokesperson for the hospital indicated that Baker has been released.
