Missing? Just asleep in her car – in the driveway
It was a weekend for missing persons.
However, they weren’t really missing.
A 28-year-old man was reported missing at 2:33 p.m. on Saturday in a call to Hood County emergency dispatchers from a residence on West Emerald Bend Court in Bentwater.
Bentwater is a subdivision northeast of Granbury.
Hood County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Johnny Rose said investigators later learned that the man was “last seen at the border going into Mexico.”
Rose said the incident report did not indicate who identified the man at the border.
On Friday, a 911 call was received at 4:28 a.m. from a residence on Fox Fire Court in Pecan Plantation reporting a 17-year-old female missing.
“The deputy that responded found her sleeping in her car in the caller’s driveway,” Rose said.
