A 33-year-old Oak Trail Shores man who struck his live-in girlfriend with his fist twice a few hours apart last Wednesday was arrested by a Hood County Sheriff’s Office deputy, Lieutenant Johnny Rose stated.

Bryan Lee Lomas fled before deputies arrived at the residence, in the 2800 block of East Briarwood Street, Rose noted.

Rose said the victim was transported by ambulance to Lake Granbury Medical Center, where she was treated and released.

“When the victim arrived back home around 5 a.m. she discovered Lomas in their home and was assaulted a second time by being struck in the eye with his fist,” Rose stated. This time upon arrival, deputies arrested Lomas, who was charged with assault family violence at the felony level because of a previous conviction, Rose said.
