A 19-year-old Hood County man who was in violation of a local misdemeanor protective order on Thursday was also arrested on an Erath County felony warrant, Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Johnny Rose said.

Manuel Alvizo Jr., of the 3500 block of Cherokee Trail in the Comanche Harbor subdivision just south of Granbury, was arrested by a Hood County deputy at about 9:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Wood Court in the Briarwood Addition on the Class A misdemeanor. That was as a result of a protective order for a 17-year-old female, according to Rose.

Deputies also learned that Alvizo was wanted out of Erath County on a state jail felony theft charge, Rose noted.

Alvizo’s bond is set at $20,000 on the theft charge and $3,000 on the protective order violation. He remained in the Hood County Jail as of press time.
