A 41-year-old Granbury man was arrested Friday after allegedly holding a knife to his wife’s throat during an argument, according to Hood County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Johnny Rose.

Charles Gordon Moore, of the 200 block of Bray Street, was arrested after deputies responded to the residence at about 7 a.m., Rose said.

His 36-year-old wife was not injured during the incident.

The nature of the argument was unknown, Rose added.

The lieutenant said that the weapon used was a folding knife. Moore is charged with a first-degree felony count, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a family member. He remained in the Hood County Jail on a bond of $30,000 as of press time.
