It’s difficult to think about planting a garden during scorching weather.
But it won’t be long before seeds are planted for a fall vegetable garden.
To learn more, the Lake Granbury Master Gardeners (LGMG) will host a program about fall gardening Monday evening, Aug. 19 at 6:30 in the Annex I Meeting Room, 1410 W. Pearl St. Sherrill Czarnecki will lead the workshop aided by fellow Master Gardeners.
Attendees will learn about garden plants that fare well in North Central Texas, appropriate planting time for a good harvest, cultivation techniques and tips, and how to recognize and resolve common garden problems.
This program is a part of the 2013 LGMG Continuing Education Series. The fee for participating is $15. Space is limited.
