Large meth haul secured

March 2, 2013

A 32-year-old Waco man was arrested Thursday by Hood County Sheriff’s Office deputies who used a drug-sniffing dog to find 10.5 grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle during a traffic stop, Lieutenant Johnny Rose said. Joshua Rolston Majors was pulled over at about 2 a.m. in the 3900 block of Highway 377 East, Rose said. He was charged with a first-degree felony count of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, more than 4 grams/less than 200 grams ($15,000 bond). Sheriff Roger Deeds said it was one of the most significant hauls confiscated here recently.
