Electrical lines can be seen dangling low early Tuesday afternoon in the 500 block of North Travis Street as city of Granbury workers rush to restore power to downtown and surrounding neighborhoods after a Ford Explorer (pictured)struck a utility pole. The pole snapped, but was held up by a guide wire, according to a police officer at the scene. The driver, 38-year-old Christine Ramsey of Granbury, was transported to Lake Granbury Medical Center, but the officer at the scene said the power lines did not make contact with the vehicle and the woman did not appear to have suffered any major injuries. Granbury Police Lieutenant Cliff Andrews later said that the cause of the accident was driver inattention.
