HALO donations can be made in someone else’s name

December 12, 2012

The volunteers connected with the Hood County Animal Lovers Organization (HALO) have an idea for those who may be having a hard time thinking of a Christmas gift idea for a special friend or family member.

You can donate to HALO in their name and help the nonprofit pet organization in the process.

If you’d like, you can donate “in remembrance” of a special pet they have lost, as a tribute.

Donations to HALO are tax deductible. The money helps HALO volunteers continue to rescue and find homes for the less fortunate companion dogs of Hood County.

Mail your donation check, payable to HALO, to P.O. Box 294, Granbury, TX 76048, or visit the website (www.HoodCoAnimalLovers.org) and use Paypal.

If you want HALO to mail a personal card to the individual you designate, provide the person’s name, complete mailing address, name of dog being remembered (optional) and the reason you’re donating in their name.

The amount of your donation will be kept confidential.
