Firefighters work a wind-whipped blaze Thursday that destroyed a residence that was home to three adults and three children just a few miles east of Lipan in the 10000 block of Lipan Highway. The two women who were home at the time were not injured, but a member of the Lipan Volunteer Fire Department was treated at the scene and released after suffering a minor leg burn. The cause of the fire is under investigation, Fire Marshal Ray Wilson said, but is believed to be accidental. See story, Page One.
